Vidhu Shekhar
Vidhu is a highly experienced leader in delivering digital transformation in the public sector. He has over 15 years of experience in managing teams and has extensive expertise in strategy and technology. Vidhu excels at evaluating the near-term and long-term needs of programs and projects, making cost-effective and valuable strategic technology decisions. Throughout his career, he has successfully worked for government agencies, consulting firms, and enterprise companies, delivering enterprise-wide value to customers.
In addition to his work, Vidhu is involved in the community and is a speaker at local universities. He holds board positions at several organizations, including the University of Southern California’s Sacramento Center and Paratransit Inc. He also serves on a National Academy of Sciences, Engineering & Medicine (NASEM) funded Transportation Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) project panel.
He is currently the Interim Business Strategy Leader for Critical Infrastructure, Transportation and Public Finance for Microsoft’s State & Local Government Industry Team. He is also the curator of the book – Generative Artificial Intelligence Use Cases in State & Local Government.
